Can I use Self: Prime for free?
Yes, permanently — the free tier is not a trial and does not expire. Chart calculations are always free with no account required. A free account adds 1 Synthesis reading and 5 Seeker's Questions per month, the full daily loop (check-in, diary, and your morning transit reading), and directory browsing. Practice Lab, PDF export, composite readings, and personal films are the paid features.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Payments are processed securely — we never store your card details.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All subscriptions are month-to-month (or annual) with no long-term commitment. Cancel from your account settings and keep access through the end of your billing period.
Do I need a subscription to access premium features?
No. A single synthesis reading ($19), composite chart readings ($29) and a 30-day transit pass ($12) are available as one-time purchases. You can buy them directly from this page or inside the app under More → Add-Ons.
What's the difference between personal use and Practitioner?
Personal use is free — chart calculations, your Synthesis reading, and transit briefs. Practitioner ($59/month) adds client management, branded reports, session prep Synthesis, and a public directory listing for your practice. The practitioner open beta is running now: sign up with practitioner intent and your first 2 months are free, no card required.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your chart stays on our servers. Generating your Synthesis reading and sending SMS transit alerts requires trusted processors (Anthropic for Synthesis, Telnyx for SMS) who see only the data needed to complete that task. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. Privacy Policy →
