The G center (sometimes called the Identity or Self center) holds your sense of self, your capacity for love, and your direction in life. It is the magnetic core that steers you toward the people and places that are correct for you — less something you figure out with the mind, more something the body is drawn along.
A Center is one of the nine energy hubs in your chart (your Centers in the Energy Blueprint on Self: Prime). Whether a center is defined (coloured in, a consistent source) or open (white, a place that takes in and amplifies) is one of the most practical things your chart reveals. When the G Center Is Defined
A defined G gives a fixed, stable sense of identity and direction. You tend to know who you are across changing circumstances, and your sense of the way forward is consistent. The invitation is to trust that steadiness rather than to keep questioning it.
When the G Center Is Open
An open G experiences identity and direction as fluid — shaped strongly by environment and the people nearby. The right place and the right company are unusually important: they let a correct sense of self and direction emerge. The not-self trap is searching for a fixed identity or forcing a direction; the freedom is choosing the right environment and letting the rest follow.
